Rule 1.1 - Purpose of the Rules

Obtaining a just, fair, and impartial adjudication of the parties' and the children's rights is the purpose of these rules. To achieve this goal efficiently and inexpensively, while complying with procedural rules and substantive law, these rules encourage using alternate dispute resolution in all appropriate cases.
