Rule 6.061 - JURY INSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS IN CIVIL CASES; ELECTRONIC COPY REQUIRED(1) In all civil jury trials, the parties shall submit all requested jury instructions and verdict forms to the court not less than one week prior to trial. This requirement is in addition to the requirements of ORCP 59A, UTCR 6.060 and UTCR 6.070.(2) Simultaneously, each party must also submit to the court an electronic copy of all requested jury instructions and verdict forms. The electronic copy must be in jury ready form. The electronic copy should be in Microsoft Word format. This rule applies to all Oregon Uniform Civil Jury Instructions requested as well as any special instructions requested. This copy must be emailed to: lin.calendaring.mailbox@ojd.state.or.us unless otherwise directed by the court.(3) For good cause shown, a party may request relief from the requirements of this rule.Amended effective 2/1/2024.
