In a civil case, where ajudge directs an attormey to prepare findings of fact, conclusions of law, and judgment, the attormey shall serve a copy of the proposed document upon counsel for all parties who have appeared, or upon the party if a party has appeared in proper person at the trial and are affected by the judgment. Five days after service counsel shall submit the same to the court for signature together with proof of such service
