In case of the lost or destruction of any original voucher, the fiduciary may procure and present for allowance a duplicate or a receipt from the person or corporation to whom the money was paid or the property was delivered, which shall show on its face that it is a duplicate of the original voucher so lost or destroyed. The Chancellor may, if the proof be sufficient, allow the same as though the original had been produced.
