Rule 15.22.16 - DUTIES OF ARBITRATION PANEL; ARBITRATOR DISQUALIFICATION; COMPENSATION(a) The panel shall have the following powers and duties:(1) To take and hear evidence pertaining to the proceedings;(2) To administer oaths and affirmations;(3) To perform all acts necessary to conduct an effective arbitration hearing.(b)Disqualification.(1) Upon appointment to a case, an arbitrator shall notify the Court and withdraw from the case if any grounds appear to exist for disqualification pursuant to the Code of Judicial Conduct.(2) If any panel member who has been duly notified of his/her appointment for any reason fails to attend the arbitration, the remaining arbitrators may, at their option, without stipulation by either party, proceed with the arbitration.Ill.
