An appeal by a judge aggrieved by a decision of the court of the judiciary may be taken by filing a notice of appeal with the secretary of the court within 30 days from the entry of judgment. The secretary of the court of the judiciary shall serve notice of the filing of a notice of appeal by mailing a copy thereof to counsel of record for the judicial inquiry commission and by filing a copy in the office of the clerk of the supreme court.
