405.7.2Smokeproof enclosure. Every required stairway serving floor levels more than 30 feet (9144 mm) below the finished floor of its level of exit discharge shall comply with the requirements for a smokeproof enclosure as provided in Sections 909.20 and 1023.12. Where interior exit stairways and ramps are pressurized in accordance with Section 909.20. 5, the smoke control pressurization system shall comply with the requirements specified in Section 909.6.3.
