Section 388-845-0111 - Are there limitations regarding who can provide services?

The following limitations apply to providers for waiver services:

(1) Your spouse must not be your paid provider for any waiver service.
(2) If you are under age 18, your natural, step, or adoptive parent must not be your paid provider for any waiver service.
(3) If you are age 18 or older, your natural, step, or adoptive parent must not be your paid provider for any waiver service with the exception of:
(a) Transportation to and from a waiver service per WAC 388-845-2200 through 388-845-2210;
(b) Residential habilitation services per WAC 388-845-1510 if your parent is certified as a residential agency per chapter 388-101 WAC; or
(c) Respite care if you and the parent who provides the respite care live in separate homes.
(4) If you receive CIIBS waiver services, your legal representative or family member per WAC 388-845-0001 must not be your paid provider for any waiver service with the exception of:
(a) Transportation to and from a waiver service per WAC 388-845-2200 through 388-845-2210; and
(b) Respite per WAC 388-845-1605 through 388-845-1620.
