Section 296-806-42058 - Use speed controls for roller and wheel conveyors(1) You must avoid safety hazards created by unit or package speeds by one of the following methods: (a) Limiting the length of the sloped run.(b) Using speed retarders or brakes.(c) Other means of providing speed control.(2) You must make sure rollers and wheels are free rurming to prevent locked wheels from steering or pulling materials to one side or off the conveyor.Wash.
