The following Longshoring Standards ( 29 CFR 1918 et seq.) are applicable in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The regulations which have been published in the Virginia Register of Regulations are shown with the corresponding VR numbers on the table below.
Since these regulations for Longshoring are identical to the federal regulations and are available elsewhere, the Virginia Code Commission has excluded the text of these regulations from the Virginia Administrative Code.
For a summary of the effect of amendments, the adoption of new regulations, the repeal of a regulation, or the stay of an effective date and for a table of the VOSH terms equivalent to the federal terms of each regulation, see the Virginia Register volume and issue (VA.R.) following the effective date of the regulation or amendment.
