Section R432-750-13 - Nursing Services(1) A registered nurse shall provide or direct nursing services.(2) Registered nursing personnel shall perform the following tasks:(a) make the initial nursing evaluation visit;(b) re-evaluate the patient's nursing needs as required;(c) initiate the plan of care and necessary revisions;(d) provide directly, or by contract, skilled nursing care;(e) assign, supervise, and teach other nursing personnel and primary care persons;(f) coordinate any services provided with members of the interdisciplinary team;(g) inform the physician and other personnel of changes in the patient's condition and needs;(h) prepare clinical progress notes; and(i) participate in in-service training programs.Utah Admin.
