Section 72.73 - Self-Funded Health Benefit PlansA PEO that offers a self-funded health insurance plan shall deliver to the department the following, within 45 days of receiving approval from the Texas Department of Insurance:
(1) a copy of the written approval to offer the plan from the Texas Department of Insurance; and(2) a copy of proof that the PEO has appointed the commissioner of the Texas Department of Insurance as its resident agent for purposes of service of process in this state.16 Tex. Admin. Code § 72.73
