Article 74:01 - General administration, Transferred to 74:25
Code Commission Note: SL 1979, ch 354, abolished the secretary and department of environmental protection and transferred his and its functions to the secretary and department of water and natural resources and to the secretary and department of health.
SL 1981, ch 374, § 25, transferred the administration of SDCL 34A-1, 34A-6, and 34-21 from the secretary and department of health and the division of environmental health to the secretary and department of water and natural resources.
To implement these transfers of authority, the code commission transferred the rules adopted as chapter 34:01:01 to chapters 44:08:01 and 74:01:01 effective July 1, 1979, and transferred chapters 44:08:01 and 74:01:01 to 74:25:01 effective July 1, 1981. The rules transferred to chapter 74:01:01 were not published until after the transfer to chapter 74:25:01.
