Section 15.68 - Appropriations(a)Use. If the administration of a statute requires a special sum of money that will not be provided in a general appropriation bill or otherwise, an appropriation should be included. If the appropriation is to lapse on a certain date or upon the expiration of a specified period of time, a provision should be included to accomplish this purpose.(b)Form. The appropriation provision may be in substantially the following form: "The sum of $1,000,000, or as much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the Department of Revenue for the fiscal year July 1, 1971 to June 30, 1972 to carry out the provisions of this act."
