Section 15.62 - Table of contents(a)Use. A table of contents may, and in lengthy statutes should, be included to simplify reviewing and finding the contents of the statute.(b)Location and form. The table of contents follows the title and preamble, if any, and precedes the enacting clause. The table of contents usually includes a listing of the designation, number or letter and heading of all major subsections and sections. In lengthy statutes containing major subdivisions, it may be sufficient to include only the major subdivisions and the first and last number of sections within each major subdivision.
