I, Mary Fallin, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct that appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018, to honor the life and legacy of former First Lady, Barbara Bush, beloved wife of our 41st president, George H. W. Bush.

The first lady's time on Earth as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, military wife, and former first lady was remarkable and her legacy is substantial and lasting. Barbara Bush's life stood as a testament to faithfulness and selfless service.

This Executive Order shall be forwarded to the Department of Capital Assets Management, who shall cause the provisions of this Order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of State government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 19th day of April, 2018.
