Section 28-03.1-01-11 - Compensation from other partiesThe registrant will not accept compensation, financial or otherwise, from more than one interested party for the same service. The registrant:
1. Will not accept financial or other considerations, including free engineering designs or land surveying plans, from material or equipment suppliers for specifying their product. 2. Will not accept commissions or allowances, directly or indirectly, from contractors or other parties dealing with the registrant's clients or employer in connection with work for which the engineer or land surveyor is responsible. 3. Shall not solicit or accept gratuities, gifts, travel, lodging, loans, entertainment, or other favors, directly or indirectly, from contractors, their agents, or other third parties dealing with a client or employer in connection with work for which the registrant is responsible, which can be determined to be an effort to improperly influence the registrant's professional judgment.
