Section 10A:17-2.2 - Volunteer Services Site Coordinator

(a) The Administrator shall designate a correctional facility staff member to function as the Volunteer Services Site Coordinator.

(b) The Volunteer Services Site Coordinator shall be responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Volunteer Service Program of the correctional facility.

(c) The Volunteer Services Site Coordinator shall:

1. Recruit volunteers;

2. Coordinate the screening, interviewing and approval of volunteers;

3. Develop, schedule and conduct volunteer orientation and training programs;

4. Assign volunteers to appropriate activities;

5. Coordinate and monitor the supervision of volunteers; and

6. Prepare monthly and annual reports of volunteer services pursuant to 10A:17-2.2 0.
