Section 10:90-19.6 - Kinship subsidy supportive services(a) Although a child who is eligible to receive the kinship subsidy is not a member of the assistance unit for purposes of receipt of WFNJ cash assistance, the child is considered a member of the WFNJ/TANF assistance unit for all benefits and support services. These include, but are not limited to, child care, medical assistance, emergency assistance and NJ SNAP benefits. 1. Any penalties imposed on the assistance unit related to a WFNJ sanction shall not affect eligibility for or issuance of the kinship subsidy.(b) The CWA worker shall determine Medicaid eligibility for the kinship child. The kinship subsidy shall be disregarded in determining Medicaid eligibility.N.J. Admin. Code § 10:90-19.6
