Section Pas 305.01 - Requirements for Pre-Certification of Tows, Carousels, and Conveyors(a) For pre-certification of tows, carousels, and conveyors, the design shall be suitable for installation at any location without modification of any structures, electrical system, mechanical system or hydraulic system.(b) Installation procedures shall be the same for all sites except for the length or number of carriers that may vary at different locations.(c) The manufacturer shall submit the request for pre-certification on the applicable construction form as set forth in Pas 309.02 and indicate "pre-certification" in lieu of site specific information.(d) The designer shall provide the design parameters showing relationships between vertical rise, length, handle spacing, speed and capacity.(e) The designer shall provide proper load and unload designs.
