1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, a broker-dealer may not make or maintain the registration of a sales representative if the registration is for: (a) A person who is no longer active in the security business of the broker-dealer;(b) A person who no longer functions as a sales representative; or(c) The sole purpose of avoiding any applicable examination requirement.2. A broker-dealer may make or maintain the registration of a sales representative if the registration is for a person who performs legal, compliance, internal audit, back-office operations or similar responsibilities for the broker-dealer or other sales representative of the broker-dealer.Nev.
