Section 644A.655 - Schools located within the Department of Corrections1. The Board may grant a variance from the requirements of NAC 644A.600 to 644A.650, inclusive, to a school of cosmetology located within a facility of the Department of Corrections.2. An application to operate a school of cosmetology located within a facility of the Department of Corrections must be accompanied by plans, operational processes and variance requests developed jointly with the Department and the Board.3. An initial license to operate a school of cosmetology within a facility of the Department of Corrections may be granted by the Board only during a public hearing.
