Section 637B.036 - Combined application for renewal of license as audiologist and speech pathologist1. Each standard and provisional license issued by the Board, including, without limitation, each standard license that has been converted to inactive status, expires 1 year after the date on which the license was issued. 2. An application to renew a license will not be approved unless the application is submitted not later than 30 days after the date on which the license expired. 3. An application for renewal of a license as an audiologist and a license as a speech-language pathologist may be submitted on a single application. 4. An application for the renewal of a provisional license as a hearing aid specialist for a second time must include proof that the licensee has applied to take the National Competency Examination administered by the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences, or its successor organization, or another comparable examination approved by the Board.Nev.
