"Alarm service" means the service required following:
1. The manual operation of a fire alarm box;2. The transmission of an alarm indicating the operation of protective equipment or systems, the discharge of carbon dioxide or the detection of smoke or excessive heat; or3. The transmission of an alarm from other protective systems.
