Section 450B.180 - "Patient" defined

"Patient" means any person who is sick, injured, wounded, or otherwise incapacitated or helpless and who is carried in an ambulance or air ambulance or is cared for at the scene of an emergency by an emergency medical dispatcher, emergency medical responder, emergency medical technician, advanced emergency medical technician, paramedic, emergency medical services registered nurse, physician or physician assistant.
