Section 213.536 - Recommendations to improve possibility of receiving parole1. The recommendations which the Board may provide pursuant to NRS 213.131 to a prisoner to whom parole is denied to improve the possibility of receiving parole may include, without limitation, a recommendation that the prisoner: (a) Not engage in misconduct which may lead to disciplinary action;(b) Participate in a program that addresses the behavior of the prisoner which led to his or her incarceration;(c) Participate in an educational, occupational or vocational program;(d) Participate in a program which encourages the development of empathy for victims of crime;(e) Avoid participation in, and association with, a criminal gang; or(f) Take any other action, or refrain from any other action, which the Board deems appropriate.2. Any recommendation provided to a prisoner pursuant to NRS 213.131 is not intended to create an expectation that the Board will grant parole to the prisoner if the prisoner follows the recommendations and does not create an interest in liberty or property when the Board considers the prisoner for parole at a subsequent hearing.Nev.
