Rule 15-10-76-1.1.1 - Justification for Rules and Regulations

In accordance with the provisions of the Mississippi Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety Law of 1974, the Governor with the approval of the Senate appoints a Technical Advisory Committee of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety. This Committee, under Section 45-23-9 of the Law, "shall recommend the adoption of definitions, rules and regulations for the safe construction, installation, inspection, care and good practice in the operation, maintenance and repair of boilers and pressure vessels by the State Department of Health." See Section 45-23-0 of the Mississippi Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety Act of 1974.
