Part 1346.5301 - SECTION 301 (IFGC) GENERAL

IFGC Section 301.3 is amended to read as follows:

301.3 Listed and labeled. Appliances regulated by this code shall be listed and labeled to an appropriate standard by a nationally recognized testing laboratory which is qualified to evaluate the appliance, unless otherwise approved in accordance with the administrative provisions of the Minnesota State Building Code, Minnesota Rules, chapter 1300. The approval of unlisted appliances shall be based upon engineering evaluation. Unlisted appliances shall be installed with clearances to combustibles in accordance with NFPA 54-2009. Unlisted appliances with a fuel input rating of less than 12,500,000 Btu/hr (3,660 kW) shall have fuel gas trains, controls and safety devices installed in accordance with Part CF, Combustion Side Control, of ASME CSD-1-2006. Unlisted appliances with a fuel input rating of 12,500,000 Btu/hr (3,660 kW) or greater shall have fuel gas trains, controls and safety devices installed in accordance with NFPA 85-2007.
