Section R. 418.101404 - Access to carrier data for payment of medical claims

Rule 1404.

(1) The workers' compensation agency shall have access to payment data from the carrier in the form of the carrier's explanation of benefits and medical bills for the purposes of data analysis.

(2) A carrier shall be notified by the agency when information is to be submitted not less than 60 days before the date required.

(3) The agency shall ensure confidentiality of the billing records provided by the selected carriers.
