Section R. 400.9414 - Unusual incident notificationRule 414.
(1) A foster parent must immediately notify the agency regarding any of the following:(a) The death of a foster child.(b) The removal or attempted removal of a foster child from a foster home by any person not authorized by the agency.(c) The foster child is missing.(d) Any illness or serious injury that results in inpatient hospitalization of a foster child.(2) A foster parent must notify the agency within 24 hours after the foster parent knows of any of the following:(a) Any injury of a foster child that requires medical treatment by a licensed or registered health care person.(b) A foster child's involvement with law enforcement authorities.(c) Pregnancy of a foster child.(d) Incidences of child-on-child abuse.(e) Involvement with law enforcement by anyone in the home pursuant to a criminal investigation.Mich.
