Section 032-532-2 - Purpose

The purpose of this rule is to clarify the regulation of Internet solicitations in Maine, in light of the fact that:

1. Capital formation and the methods by which issuers seek to raise capital have evolved over time; and

2. The Internet has facilitated greatly the ability to communicate with a large number of persons.
