Section V-8007 - Certification Program RequirementsA. The laboratory certification program is voluntary and open to any laboratory to apply for certification. However, any laboratory wishing to analyze drinking water samples for compliance with regulations adopted or orders issued pursuant to the Safe Drinking Water Act, or R.S. 36:254(B)(7), R.S. 36:254(B)(8), R.S.40:4(A)(8), R.S.40:5(6), R.S.40:5.9, or Part XII of the department's Sanitary Code (LAC 51) shall follow the procedures set forth herein in order to obtain and maintain certification.B. Certified laboratories and laboratories seeking certification shall analyze all drinking water samples in accordance with the procedures and methods required by this Chapter.La. Admin.
