Section XXXIII-708 - Advertising by Dental Hygienists
A. Dental hygienists may advertise their practice of dental hygiene provided it is in conjunction with advertising by a dentist who employs him or her. No individual advertisement by a dental hygienist is allowed.
B. Dental hygienists may use the appendage "R.D.H." or other degrees earned from accredited colleges or universities after their names. Fellowships, awards, membership in academies, or nondegreed boards may be spelled out in their entirety under one's name, but not appended to the name so as to avoid confusion to the consumer.
