Section IX-1101 - Statement of PurposeA. The Louisiana Economic Development and Gaming Corporation (the "corporation") was formed pursuant to R.S. 4:601 et seq., which is entitled The Louisiana Economic Development and Gaming Corporation Act (hereafter referred to as the "Act"). The Act directed the corporation to adopt various rules and procedures governing various aspects of the operation of the corporation. To comply with this mandate, the board of directors of the corporation (hereafter referred to as the "board") has adopted these bylaws and rules of procedure (sometimes referred to as "rules of procedure" or "rules").La.
