The purpose of the Iowa Job Training Partnership Act program is to establish programs to prepare youth and unskilled adults for entry into the labor force and afford job training to those economically disadvantaged individuals and others facing serious barriers to employment who are in special need of and will benefit from the training to obtain productive employment.
