Rule 801-10.50 - Visitors

Visitors are welcome to IVH subject to the following conditions:

(1) Member visitation hours are from 8 a.m. to 1 1 p.m. daily. Visiting hours may be extended on an individual basis with the approval of the commandant or designee.

(2) Visitors are subject to the policies and procedures as established by IVH, including the tobacco-free policy.

(3) Tours of IVH may be arranged by contacting the commandant or designee.

(4) Weapons, illegal substances or alcoholic beverages are not permitted on IVH grounds.

(5) Any disruptive behavior on the part of a visitor shall result in modification, denial or termination of visiting privileges.

(6) Trespass. Visitors shall not enter IVH grounds with the intent to commit a public offense, remain upon the grounds or in IVH buildings without justification after being notified or requested to abstain from entering, or to remove or vacate therefrom by any peace officer, magistrate, or public employee whose duty it is to supervise the use or maintenance of IVH and its grounds.

(7) Any visitor violating any of the rules within this chapter may be restricted from IVH for a period of time to be determined by the commandant or designee.

(8) Visitors who bring pets must comply with IVH rules regarding pet health and safety. Pets shall be kept on a leash while on IVH grounds.
