Rule 645-141.4 - Preceptor qualifications

Preceptor qualifications are as follows:

(1) Current licensure and at least two years of experience as a nursing home administrator.

(2) Completion of a preceptor training course prior to the preceptorship.

(3) Preceptor has not had the preceptor's nursing home administrator license disciplined, limited, suspended, or placed on probation during the one year immediately prior to the approval to act as a preceptor.

(4) Is not related to the training administrator.
