In order to attain the authority to recommend candidates for Iowa licensure, colleges and universities offering practitioner preparation programs in Iowa, as well as other Iowa educational organizations engaged in the preparation of school administrators, teacher interns and holders of other school professional licensure, will meet the standards contained in this chapter to gain or maintain state board approval of the institution's programs.
