The state shall carry out activities to ensure that teachers and administrators in all public agencies are fully informed about their responsibilities for implementing rule 281-41.114 (256B, 34CFR300) and are provided with technical assistance and training necessary to assist them in this effort. If a public agency is having difficulty in locating an appropriate placement for an eligible individual, the public agency may contact the department for potential assistance.
