Rule 199-42.19 - Presiding officer

The presiding officer who conducts the contested case hearing on the complaint or petition may be one or more members of the board or a qualified person designated by the board. The presiding officer has the authority granted by the board as specified in 199-subrule 7.1(4) and given by statute.
