Rule 199-42.12 - Prohibition against mechanic's liens

The public utility shall not create, permit, or suffer any mechanic's lien or other lien of any kind or any nature to be created or enforced against the railroad's property for any work performed by the public utility in connection with its facilities that are located in the railroad's right-of-way. The railroad shall not create, permit, or suffer any mechanic's lien or other lien of any kind or any nature to be created or enforced against the public utility's property located in the railroad's right-of-way for any work performed by the railroad in connection with the railroad's facilities.
