Calls for meetings shall be issued in accordance with Iowa Code section 21.4. The annual meeting of the board shall be the first meeting scheduled after April 30. At this meeting, the chairperson and vice-chairperson shall be elected. The chairperson and vice-chairperson shall serve one-year terms. The newly elected officers shall assume the duties of their respective offices at the conclusion of the meeting at which they are elected.
