Section 58.01.08.007 - DISAPPROVAL DESIGNATION

The Department or its agent may assign a disapproved designation to a public water system when: (3-24-22)

01.Defects. There are design or construction defects, or some combination of design and construction defects; or (3-24-22)
02.Operating Procedures. Operating procedures constitute a health hazard; or (3-24-22)
03.Quality. Physical, chemical, microbiological or radiological quality does not meet the requirements of these rules; or (3-24-22)
04.Monitoring. The required monitoring as specified in these rules has not been conducted; or (3-24-22)
05.Unapproved Source. An unapproved source of drinking water is used or the system is interconnected with a disapproved water system. (3-24-22)
06.Non-Payment of Annual Fee Assessment. The annual drinking water system fee assessment is not paid as set forth in Section 010. (3-24-22)
07.Public Notification. The Department may require the owner of a water system that has been given a disapproval designation to notify the public. The manner, content, and timing of this notification will be determined by the Department. This requirement is in addition to any public notification requirements set forth in Section 150 that may also apply to the disapproved system. (3-24-22)
