Section 16.02.10.060 - TESTING FOR CERTAIN REPORTABLE DISEASES WHEN INFORMED CONSENT IS NOT POSSIBLE

Under Section 39-4504, Idaho Code, a licensed physician may order blood or body fluid tests for hepatitis viruses, malaria, syphilis, or the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) when an informed consent is not possible and there has been, or is likely to be, significant exposure to a person's blood or body fluids by a person providing emergency or medical services. (3-17-22)
