Section 16-99-92 - Continuing education hours in license restoration and reinstatement cases

Prior to applying to the commission for restoration or reinstatement of a license to active status, an applicant shall satisfy the prescribed continuing education hours or the equivalent as determined by the commission for one prior renewal period. The commission shall credit the applicant with continuing education hours for any certified continuing education core or elective courses completed during the immediate prior renewal period. As an equivalent, where the commission deems appropriate, the applicant may either take and pass the applicable salesperson or broker prelicense examination, or complete such other courses as prescribed by the commission, or both. The requirements of this section are in addition to other conditions stated in the order of suspension, and other applicable requirements of this chapter and chapter 467, HRS.
