Each professional boxer, before entering a contest or exhibition, shall secure a boxer's license. Application for a boxer's license must be filed with the commission not less than five days before the meeting of the commission at which the application could be considered. The examining physician shall present evidence that the applicant has had within ten days, a proper serological test for syphilis. A physician's report shall furthermore indicate that there is no postured or skeletal difficulty, recent fracture, heart or blood or kidney disease, or any recent acute illness which might in any way endanger the life or health of a boxer entering a contest. A history of previous head injury shall be cause for an unsatisfactory report. Loss of vision or impaired vision may be cause for an unsatisfactory report.
