Section 13-241-26 - Negotiable instruments; service charge(a) The service charge for any dishonored check, draft, certificate of deposit, or other negotiable instrument shall be $50.00.(b) Payment to and acceptance by the department of the service charge for a check, draft, certificate of deposit, or other negotiable instrument shall not be construed as a waiver of any violation of the Hawaii Penal Code, chapters 701 to 713, Hawaii Revised Statutes, or of these rules.
