Rule 82-3-1-.02 - Title and Purpose1. The purpose of these rules is to establish general licensing procedures, operational requirements and enforcement procedures required by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) for CSUs. The issuance of a CSU operating license requires compliance with these rules and regulations and authorizes the licensee to establish services to meet the needs of the individuals in a safe, therapeutic environment and to set forth the minimum requirements for providing short term residential, psychiatric stabilization and detoxification services.2. Compliance with this chapter does not constitute release from the requirements of other applicable federal, state, or local laws, codes, rules, regulations and ordinances. This chapter must be followed where it exceeds other codes and ordinances.3. Licensure of the CSU does not constitute an entitlement to any type or level of funding by DBHDD.Ga. Comp. R. & Regs.
