Rule 475-1-.01 - Organization(1) The State Board of Pardons and Paroles shall be composed of five members, appointed by the Governor for seven year terms subject to the confirmation of the Senate.(2) Members of the Board may be removed from office for cause by the concurrent action of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General.(3) The Board may establish qualifications for employees and appoint such clerical, stenographic, supervisory and expert assistants as it may deem necessary, and in its discretion may discharge such employees.(4) The public may obtain additional information at the Board's headquarters or on its website: pap.ga.gov.Ga.
