Section 1B-6.001 - DefinitionsAs used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall mean:
(1) "State publication" means a publication, either in print or electronically, under the authority of or at the total or partial expense of a state official, state department, state board, state court, or state agency, or that is required to be publicly distributed pursuant to state law. The term includes a publication containing information about the state and its government that is culturally and historically significant to researchers and the general public. The term does not include a publication that is created only for internal use of a state official, state department, state board, state court, or state agency.(2) "Agency" means any official, officer, commission, board, authority, council, committee, department, or entity of state government.(3) "Depository library" means those libraries designated in accordance with Section 257.05(3)(a), F.S.(4) "Division" means the Division of Library and Information Services of the Department of State.(5) "Publicly supported library" means that the library unit, agency, organization, or institution is under the administrative supervision or control of a government.Fla.
